To initiate a manual payment in the Parker App, please follow these easy steps:
Open the Parker App and navigate to the "Payments" page.
In the "Parker Cards" section, find and click on the "Make a payment" button located in the top right corner of the dashboard.
Choose the bank account you have linked to process the manual payment.
Understanding Payment Logic:
When you make a manual payment, it's important to know how the payment is applied. We prioritize applying your payment to the oldest outstanding statements first.
For example, let's say you have two pending payments:
$10,800 due on July 29th
$12,600 due on July 30th
If you make a manual payment of $12,600, this amount will first be used to clear the oldest due, which is the $10,800 for July 29th. The remaining $1,800 will then be applied towards the next statement due, which in this case is the $12,600 due on July 30th.
This system ensures that your payments are allocated efficiently and helps in keeping your account in good standing.
